If you are aged 40 and over, or you will turn 40 before 1st July this year, you can now book your Covid-19 vaccination at a local centre. Book your appointment online HERE, or by calling 119.
You will need your NHS number to hand but don’t worry if you don’t know it, as you can find it HERE.
Anyone from priority groups 1-9 who hasn’t yet booked a first dose of their vaccination, please come forward and book your appointment in the next 10 days or so.
All second dose vaccination appointments will go ahead as planned. If you have an appointment booked for your 2nd dose at a vaccination centre, a community pharmacy or local vaccination GP-led centre, please attend your appointment to ensure that no vaccine is wasted.
Anyone with a learning disability on the learning disability register (a list kept by their GP) will be contacted to make an appointment to have the Covid vaccine. Our local councils are also checking their records to identify other people who aren’t on the learning disability register but might be eligible for the vaccine so that their GP can get in touch with them.
If you know any relatives, friends or neighbours with a learning disability, please make sure they are on the learning disability register through their GP.
As well as you being able to have the Covid19 vaccination, anybody who cares for them as their main carer is also eligible for a vaccination.
